Homework

Aims

At ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ we believe independent study is an integral part of a student’s learning. Students will have homework set on a regular basis that is both meaningful and appropriate to their age and ability. The completion of homework helps students to make excellent progress and is crucial in supporting students in reaching their goals.

Our Homework Principles

  • To provide an opportunity for knowledge recall and to develop further student’s understanding, skills or knowledge.
  • To consolidate or practice skills or knowledge that have been learnt in class.
  • To allow teachers to identify misconceptions in knowledge and application of skills.
  • To build independence, resilience, and organisation skills.
